Snaptally started as a personal fix for that — re-entering handwritten notes into FunctionFox every Friday. The notes were never the problem. The problem was that the way people actually record time in the moment, on paper, in a text file, in a calendar block, looks nothing like what billing software wants, so somebody has to translate. That somebody was me, for twenty minutes a week.
So it isn't a time tracker. There are plenty of those, and if you were going to diligently start and stop one all day you probably already would. It reads whatever you've already got and does the translating.
