These terms govern your use of Snaptally, operated by Artchemy Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By using Snaptally you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Snaptally converts time notes you have already recorded — photographed, typed, timed, or imported from a calendar — into a formatted timesheet you can copy or export. It is a formatting and transcription aid. It is not an accounting, payroll, invoicing, or legal-compliance system, and it does not submit anything to your employer or billing provider on your behalf.
Snaptally is in active development and offered free of charge during beta. Features may change or be removed, and interruptions are possible. Nothing here should be read as a commitment that a particular feature will continue to exist.
Your entries are stored in your browser unless you enable Sync. You are responsible for keeping your own records. Clearing your browser data will erase local entries permanently, and we cannot recover them. If your timesheet data matters — and for billing it usually does — export to CSV or enable Sync.
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Transcription is performed by automated systems and will sometimes be wrong — misreading a time, a duration, or a description. You are responsible for reviewing every entry before relying on it, submitting it, or billing from it. We are not liable for losses arising from unreviewed output.
Snaptally relies on third parties including Google (transcription and, optionally, Calendar), Clerk (authentication), and our hosting provider. Your use of connected third-party services is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their availability or their acts.
Snaptally, its name, and its software remain ours. Your content stays yours — we claim no ownership over your time entries, notes, or uploads. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process and store that content in order to provide the service.
Some features may become paid. Pricing, billing terms, and refunds will be presented before you are charged, and anything usable without an account today will remain free. Snaptally is free while in beta. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing and refund terms will be published before anyone is charged, and no existing free functionality will be moved behind a paywall without notice.
We aim to keep Snaptally available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. Where practical we will give notice of material changes to these terms by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the app.
You may stop using Snaptally at any time and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, or where required by law.
Snaptally is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or corrupted data arising from your use of Snaptally. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Snaptally will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitation applies only to the extent permitted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
